Job Description
McLeod Health is seeking a flexible, punctual Surgical Technologist Extern for a per-hour position in the operating room. The role involves assisting with patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, specimen processing, and general room cleaning. Externs will learn in a fast-paced surgical environment and contribute to efficient perioperative processes.
Requirements
- Must be flexible, punctual, and willing to learn in the surgical environment.
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgical procedures.
- Assist with draping and maintaining a sterile field.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform terminal sterilization.
