The Task Force Director of Sales is responsible for the sales strategies and functions of the hotel, including developing and executing strategic plans, overseeing operations, and building relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Develop and execute strategic plans in support of achieving optimal occupancy and ADR growth.
- Maximize total revenues and control expenses to meet and exceed hotel profitability objectives.
- Oversee operations of the hotel sales department.
- Supervise the sales team where applicable.
- Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked.
- Proactively develop action plans, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients.
- Build and maintain professional and active relationships with clients, third-party meeting planners, referral sites, and other key sources as lead generators.
- Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations.
- Attend any meetings and any other functions required by the hotel or management.
- Maintain a good working relationship with other associates by promoting teamwork and fostering a harmonious working climate.
