Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in Australian accounting and bookkeeping practices, coupled with BPO experience.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 6-10 years of work experience including at least 3+ years of experience in Australian accounting/bookkeeping
- Experience in BPO environments with exposure to international clients, preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Proficiency in Australian tax laws, GST, and BAS compliance
- Expertise in accounting software Xero, which is used for all entities
- Experience with Elmo payroll software a plus
- Intermediate Excel and Google Sheets
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and power backup to ensure consistent workflow
