Job Description
MDI Hospital, rooted in community and inspired by care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to assist providers in providing quality health care. This 40-hour temporary position focuses on direct and indirect patient care, ensuring safe and effective treatment within a team-focused environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Master's-level medical assistant course and seeking completion of externship hours.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in customer service.
- Emotional maturity and good people skills.
- Ability to work with distressed/anxious patients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team focus and support skills.
- 5. Intermittent weekend coverage.
- Cognitive abilities (clinical information processing and task management).
