We are looking for a recent graduate to join our Editorial team as an Assistant Editor - Sustainability. The position involves supporting the editorial process, organizing peer review, and editing manuscripts. As a successful candidate, you will receive on-the-job training and work closely with Managing Editors. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for internal job transfers or promotions after gaining work experience.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Studies, Ecology, Biology, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, fluent German would be a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Passion for scientific research and academic publishing
- Team player with the capability to work in a dynamic, international environment
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to see the big picture
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Very good communication and coordination skills
