Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst to join our on-site staff supporting the Chief of Finance and Accounting at DTRA, a Department of Defense Agency located on Ft. Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate has experience working in a collaborative environment, is a self-starter and able to work on tasks independently. Responsibilities include review and preparation of journal voucher entries, month-end closing tasks, and other recurring tasks such as trend analysis and abnormal balances review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Broad experience performing financial reporting and reconciliation functions for a Defense organization
- Secret Clearance required
- Understanding of USSGL General Ledger and the Treasury Financial Manual
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Technical writing skills
