Tax Manager

Meadows Urquhart is a fast-growing CPA firm seeking a Tax Manager with 5 years of relevant tax experience, 2 years of reviewing tax returns, and a CPA, EA or CPA eligible. The firm values a supportive workplace culture, flexible work schedules, and professional development.

Requirements

• Lead client audit, tax, and/or advisory engagements
• Plan and execute audit, review, or tax engagements, including managing deadlines and budgets
• Supervise staff while ensuring technical compliance and timely service of delivery
• Coach teams, identifying risk and managing project budgets
• Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact, managing expectations, and providing advice on accounting and business issues
• Participate in special projects as necessary
• Staff training and development - providing team leadership by mentoring, supervising and communicating feedback to senior and staff accountants
• Support senior mgmt. in pitching for new business and expanding existing client relationships
