Job Description
This HVAC Rough-In Installer position involves the initial installation of HVAC systems in construction projects, focusing on establishing a solid foundation. Responsibilities include installing ductwork, piping, and supporting equipment, along with equipment installation and adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Install ductwork, including supply and return ducts, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and sealing.
- Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and other piping components according to specifications and regulations.
- Mount and secure HVAC equipment, such as air handling units, heat pumps, furnaces, and condensing units.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Coordinate with other tradespeople on the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety regulations and building codes.
