SQL Database Developer

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Developer to assist with the development, maintenance, and optimization of several SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers, as well as experience with database management principles, secure coding practices, and HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer or Information Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or similar
• 6+ years of Database and software development experience
• Expertise in writing complex SQL Queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and indexes
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with extensive familiarity with database management principles
• A solid background in writing secure, understandable, testable, and efficient code
• Extensive experience in tuning queries for optimal performance
• Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, with a drive to stay up to date with ongoing changes and advancements
• Clear communication around technical concepts and ideas and the ability to collaborate with engineering and other parts of the organization
• Solid understanding of T-SQL Programming
• Proficient in MS SQL Server 2012 or later
• Experience with C# is plus
• Knowledgeable with Change Management Processes, Secure Coding Methodologies, and Test Plans (Unit, Regression, Load)
• Ability to multi-task with several complex and demanding projects
• Healthcare experience preferred
