Job Description
Medica is a nonprofit health plan seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their Actuarial Services team in Minnetonka, MN. The role provides analytical support in pricing, forecasting, reserving, and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of experience beyond degree
- Successful completion of 3 Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, SAS, R, or Python is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
