Medica is a nonprofit health plan that serves communities in Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, and beyond. We're looking for a Sr Actuarial Associate to analyze and evaluate the likelihood of future events to reduce and manage future risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5+ years of work experience beyond degree
- Level 2: ASA + 3 exams/modules (must include 1 exam) OR Demonstrated performance over multiple years under the supervision of a qualified actuary
- Level 1: Associate: ASA
- Experience with ACA rate filings
- Healthcare experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and experience in SAS or SQL is also preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance several projects and deadlines at once
