Paramedic (PRN)

Paramedic (PRN) - Part Time position at GW Medical Faculty Associates, providing Advanced Life Support within the RN/NRP scope of practice and standing orders to include medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization to the sick and injured.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate computer equipment and software programs used
• Ability to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations
• Ability to evaluate the condition of patients to determine appropriate care
• Ability to administer proper treatment under the scope of a Paramedic by utilizing appropriate techniques and medical equipment
• Ability to appropriately document medical care in an electronic medical record
• Strong interpersonal skills and mental adaptability and flexibility in dealing with a variety of people
• Ability to do medication calculations
