Job Description
The Cancer Center Social Worker is responsible for providing psychosocial and clinical support services to Cancer Center patients and their families. The Social Worker assesses patients from a culturally and ethnically diverse population and provides outpatient clinical intervention while establishing plans for effective management of identified needs.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work. OSW-C preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire.
- A current social work license in the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical social work experience within the Cancer Center specialty is required.
