Laboratory Associate I (Lab Client Services)

Laboratory Associate serves as a point of contact for healthcare providers, patients, and internal departments regarding laboratory testing. The role utilizes resources to ensure accurate test selection, specimen requirements and processing instructions. The Laboratory Associate manages tests cancellations and problem resolution by working directly within lab sections to correct errors and ensure accurate reporting. Complies with all safety guidelines and models Standards of Behavior in daily interactions and activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
• 24 semester hours of science courses including 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of any combination of chemical or biological sciences
