The Oncology Patient Care Coordinator reports to the Navigation & Supportive Care Director and offers individualized assistance to patients and caregivers to assist in overcoming healthcare system barriers.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree from an accredited university and two years of healthcare experience
- High school diploma and 5 years of job experience in referral management, oncology navigation or patient access
- Considerable knowledge of complex medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to rapidly prioritize/reprioritize
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
