Job Description
The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer I reports to the Perioperative Interventional Cardiology and Imaging Manager, providing high quality echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis by a Pediatric Cardiologist in a professional manner. This role requires independent and efficient performance of clinical Pediatric Echo operations, organizing and prioritizing patient exams, and contributing to unit teamwork.
Requirements
- Graduation from a Cardiovascular/Ultrasound program or equivalent experience
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, PE) or RCCS (Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer) in Pediatrics by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
