Job Description
The Sterile Processing Technician III manages the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation, cares for and operates ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and other equipment, and performs other duties with a commitment to excellence in quality and customer service.
Requirements
- Graduate of high school or GED equivalency examination
- Certified and maintain a certification in sterile processing as a CRCST - HSPA or CBSPD
- At least two (2) years’ experience in sterile processing
- Ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure health care environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
- Basic computer skills
