The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing of medical devices. Performs a variety of skilled journeyman level general, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Work experience: 3+ years in a Maintenance Technician role in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electronics, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or medical device environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic system
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA, and cGMP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Electrical knowledge, Electrician certification preferred
- Knowledge of clean room operation preferred
- Knowledge of building qualification for medical industry preferred
- Familiar with Manufacturing environment (injection molding, automation)
