Maintenance Technician - Medical Manufacturing

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing of medical devices. Performs a variety of skilled journeyman level general, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Work experience: 3+ years in a Maintenance Technician role in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electronics, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or medical device environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic system
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA, and cGMP
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Electrical knowledge, Electrician certification preferred
• Knowledge of clean room operation preferred
• Knowledge of building qualification for medical industry preferred
• Familiar with Manufacturing environment (injection molding, automation)
