Network Infrastructure Project Specialist

Megaport is a leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), and is seeking a Network Infrastructure Project Specialist to coordinate infrastructure projects and operational management of field engineering activities. The role involves overseeing planning, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, managing expansion of network footprint and capacity, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Requirements

• Skilled in clear and effective communication to coordinate complex projects across multiple teams
• Familiar with transport network solutions, active/passive DWDM, cabling, fiber types, splicing, and test equipment
• Good understanding of Data Center infrastructure, including power supply, cooling, and rack management
• Previous exposure to Network/IT Infrastructure Management processes and played a major role in large-scale deployments
• Experience in scheduling high-risk maintenance and managing Change Management activities
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously
• Pragmatic approach to prioritization and the ability to work well under pressure
