Relief Pharmacist

As a Relief Pharmacist at Meijer, you will be responsible for filling prescriptions, maintaining positive relationships with patients and team members, and educating pharmacy technicians to perform at their highest level. You will also oversee pharmacy operations, perform clinical services, and motivate team members to excel in their roles.

Requirements

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level
• Be competent and knowledgeable of Meijer policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws
• Have effective communication skills and be an agent of change
• Have excellent organization skills and be able to prioritize workload
• Listen to patients and resolve their needs with customer service
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations
