Join our family company as a Senior Benefits Specialist and support the Benefits Team in aligning with HR and Meijer business strategies to enhance daily benefits operations. You will oversee operational effectiveness, business process reviews, legal compliance, communication coordination, and continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Management or commensurate experience
- 5-8+ years’ experience in HR related work
- Extensive expertise in administering Health and Welfare programs
- Experience ensuring legal compliance of Health Benefit programs
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing Section 125 ERISA Health and Welfare benefit programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven capability in benefits and HR program administration
