Job Description
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a superintendent role managing commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects.
- Proven knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods, including safety regulations and quality control.
- Experience managing subcontractors, tradespeople, and labor crews in a variety of construction environments.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR.
- Strong understanding of building codes, local regulations, and construction industry standards.
