Job Description
The QA/QC Engineer (Civil & Struct) will be responsible for ensuring the quality of civil and structural discipline construction activities in major Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in the construction of major Green field or Brown-field Process Plants, with a strong background in QA/QC aspects, testing requirements, and international codes and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or Equivalent) from a recognized university
- IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor
- Membership / Certifications from internationally recognized institutions (ASQCMQ&OE, MCQI-CQP or ICE or ASCE or similar) is desirable
- 15 years experience in the construction of major Green field or Brown-field Process Plants in Oil & Gas industry
- Sound working knowledge on QA/QC aspects, various testing requirements, Acceptance criteria
- Good knowledge in understanding and application of international Codes, Standards and regulations
- Ability to work well and effectively communicate with contractor / Third Party /End user personnel and colleagues
- Hands on experience in preparation, Review and approval of Quality Plans / ITPs / QCPs / MARs
- Experienced in managing the team of discipline inspectors, coordinating respective inspection & testing activities
- Experienced in development or implementation of Quality Surveillance Program, Completion Management System and associate Inspection & Test Records
- Experienced in implementing and conducting Pre-Qualification / QMS / Quality and technical compliance checks and audits
