Job Description
The 15.4.83_SR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER (STATIC & PIPING) position requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and Chartered / Professional Engineer status or equivalent. The ideal candidate has 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry with an international Consultancy company, EPIC contractor or End-user in the field of Piping/Mechanical facilities design/engineering and start-up of Oil & Gas processing facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Chartered / Professional Engineer status or equivalent
- Minimum 12 years of relevant post graduate experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Expert level competency in Static or Piping disciplines
- Familiarity with industry renowned design softwares and industry codes & standards
- Experience in Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) based piping specialities; commissioning & start-up and troubleshooting of piping system problems
- Proven ability for effectively managing time, cost, and quality in either greenfield or brownfield engineering major projects
- Fluency in English with good verbal and writing communication skills and proficiency for conducting presentations
