Bioprocess Engineer

Melt&Marble’s mission is to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable products across different industries. We are looking for a motivated bioprocess engineer to work on optimizing bioprocesses for production of microbial lipids.

Requirements

• Hold an Msc or PhD in bioprocess engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a similar field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in bioprocess development and/or operations, preferably with yeasts
• Strong expertise with different bioprocesses, including batch, fed-batch, and continuous processes
• Experience with the modelling/simulation of bioprocesses
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, experimental environment
• Strong team spirit and excellent collaboration skills
• Preferably authorized to work in Sweden (Sweden/EU citizen or permanent resident)
