Job Description
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, validating, and commissioning automated systems for customers. They will also provide support during the installation process, create documentation, and troubleshoot systems. The role emphasizes team collaboration and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Qualified candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer or Engineering Technology or an Associates's Degree in Electrical Design.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution, Motor Drives, Safety Circuits, PLC and HMI Logic, Pneumatic Circuits, 2D CAD (AutoCAD LT is a plus)
- Troubleshooting controls systems and circuits
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office –Word, Excel
- Familiar with NEC, NFPA, UL codes, ANSI B11, OSHA, and Industry Accepted Guarding practices
