Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineers will design custom weld fixtures and machines, interact with customers, and support manufacturing and fabrication. The role involves collaboration within a team, proactive issue resolution, and contributing to continuous improvement. Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in a mechanical design engineering role
• Proficient with 3D CAD software (AutoDesk Inventor and Vault is a plus)
• Creative in conceptualizing new machine and fixture designs
• Ability to deal with change and meet aggressive deadlines
• Proficient at project management including strong organizational and planning skills
• Supportive of internal and external customers’ needs
• Ability to communicate well with customers, team members, management, etc.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally travel
• Adaptable and self-motivated learner
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Basic knowledge of GD&T
• Familiarity with Safety Codes, ANSI B11, OSHA, and Industry Accepted Guarding practices
