Loss Control Consultant II role at MEMIC involves making a meaningful impact on workplace safety by partnering with policyholders across central Maine. The role is fully remote and requires regular travel to policyholder locations throughout central Maine. Experience within the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Risk Management, or equivalent education and experience
- At least three years of field loss control consulting experience in the insurance industry or comparable safety experience in a general industry setting
- Strong business acumen and initiative, with a collaborative approach to solving complex safety challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the territory
- Willingness to obtain professional designations and credentials such as ARM, ASP, CSP, WCP, or a master's degree in a relevant specialty
