Job Description
Develops and provides services related to the orientation, continuing education, and assessment of clinical staff as a Senior Clinical Nurse Educator in the IMCU.
Requirements
- Plans, updates, and evaluates clinical competencies
- Disseminates research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement findings
- Leads committee, work groups and/or projects related to the implementation of educational activities
- Conducts needs assessments using a variety of strategic tools
- Manages the onboarding and orientation of all new employees and students on assigned unit(s)
- Conducts or contributes to nursing research
