Forklift Operator

Menasha Corporation is a leader in corrugated and plastic packaging products and related services. The company is seeking a Forklift Operator to drive an industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the facility.

Requirements

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Transport finished jobs or goods into correct areas
• Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate area as needed
• Accurately complete forklift operator’s checklist
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area, and by keeping neat, orderly and safe stacks of stock in storage areas
• Maintain accurate location of stock in storage area by paperwork and computer
• Adhere to daily production schedule, and make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals
• Assist other forklift operators as necessary and serve as backup to Shipping Lead Person
• Complete necessary reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data
• Assist supervisors on the production floor to maintain a safe work environment
• Perform all functions accurately as required in our WMS system
