Senior Clinical Engineer

Mendaera is developing technology that will enable all healthcare providers to do more for their patients. We are looking for a Senior Clinical Engineer to help define product requirements and conduct testing to demonstrate safe and effective use of the company’s products and services.

Requirements

• Develop in-depth clinical knowledge of clinical anatomies, procedures, and environments
• Understand user needs and work with cross-functional teams to translate user and business requirements into design requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with engineering to drive clinical input into product design and development
• Develop test methods, models, and metrics to assess clinical performance and usability of company’s products
• Assess and document clinical risks, and identify appropriate mitigations
• Author protocols, execute testing, and report results for preclinical, usability, and validation studies for regulatory submission
• Define and document procedure workflows associated with use of the company’s products
