Manager, Engineering

Menlo Security is looking for a talented engineering manager to join their UK Threat Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend development, experience with cloud platforms, and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of backend development experience using one or more modern programming languages
• Experience with cloud platforms and technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, terraform and helm
• Strong knowledge of modern development practices, including automated testing, build tools, and UI/UX principles
• Experience designing and implementing scalable web application architectures
• Proven experience leading and mentoring high performing software development teams
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and debug complex issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, ambitious, with a strong ability to learn new technologies
• Highly organized and detail oriented
