Backend Engineer - After Sales & Ownership (f/m/x)

We are Mercedes-Benz.io, a digital tribe that forms the digital solutions for Mercedes-Benz. We offer a remote job with flexibility to work from Lisbon or Braga, or remotely from any location in Portugal. Our team is passionate about building digital experiences for customers and we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join us.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Professional experience with Kotlin or Java
• Strong experience with Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in a cloud environment (any cloud provider)
• Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into simple, maintainable technical solutions
• Comfortable working in English within a collaborative, cross-functional team
