Job Description
We are a values-based company committed to fulfilling our responsibility to employees and the communities we serve. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to work with intellectually and developmentally challenged adults in their homes and community. The ideal candidate will be reliable, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively with individuals with various needs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old
- Relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement
- Current driver's license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving your personal vehicle to and from various community locations
- Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
