Mercury is a fintech company building a bank and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Banking Integration Platform team.
Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Banking Integration Platform team, you will be building integration subsystems that are technically correct and operationally trustworthy. You will work on connecting our modern engineering systems to enterprise core banking systems and payment networks, and partner with other teams to define clean boundaries and reliable contracts.
Requirements
- Direct experience with a bank core that has achieved FFIEC-compliance or a US-based Global Systemically Important Bank (G-SIB)
- Understanding of how core banking systems work, including accounts, transactions, ledgers, and data models
- Product-minded engineer who thinks about the developers consuming your APIs
- Comfortable with tech stack (Haskell and TypeScript)
- Strong opinions about building reliable, maintainable systems
