As a Senior Software Engineer in Risk at Mercury, you will drive AI product development, collaborate across functions, and lead projects end-to-end. You will design and build AI-driven workflows, automate complex decisions, and think about compliance as a fascinating systems problem at planetary scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in Payments or Risk
• Agentic AI expertise
• Proven success building large-scale distributed systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with or curiosity about KYC, AML, risk, or compliance systems in financial services or fintech
