Product Design Lead

Mercuryo is seeking a Product Design Lead to join their team and lead the product design function, mentor and grow a small team of designers, re-architect the design system, and embed AI into their design and feedback workflows. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of product design experience, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role, and a strong understanding of systems thinking and component-based design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience
• 2+ years in a lead or managerial role
• Proven track record of leading design teams in fast-paced product environments
• Experience working in fintech or crypto is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of systems thinking and component-based design
• Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and design for conversion
• Interest in using AI to improve design processes like workflows, research, and iteration
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
