Grant Specialist

Mercy Corps Haiti is seeking a Grant Specialist to help communities develop their own ideas to solve Haiti's most daunting problems. The Grant Specialist will be responsible for grant compliance and risk management, supporting partner evaluations, strengthening partner capacities, grant management, budgeting, and keeping partner files up to date.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics
• 5 years of experience in grant and sub-grant management with an international NGO and diverse funders
• Experience working with local NGOs
• Excellent self-organization and adaptability skills
• Confirmed experience in proposal development with various institutional international funders
• Teamwork, facilitation, and training skills
• Ability to work in a diverse team
• Computer skills (advanced MS Excel and ability to prepare accurate financial information presentations, financial management systems)
• Operational experience, including planning, development, and implementation of operational activities
