The Health and Protection Officer will be responsible for leading and coordinating the implementation of the health component of the program in the region, ensuring the proper management of services provided by contracted IPS and compliance with attention protocols and case management.
Requirements
- Professional administrative or assistance professional in health areas or related health sciences mental and/or social sciences
- Desirable knowledge of statutory health law 1751 of 2015, public health, manuals, tariffs, costs in health, quality, and internal control
- Desirable knowledge of technical aspects of case management protection and cash delivery for protection
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian protection and/or health, social work, human rights, or similar fieldwork related to an NGO or other non-profit organization
- Minimum experience of 1 year in financial follow-up and accounting of health services and 2 years in team management
- Skills in the management and interpretation of data in accounting systems, budgetary follow-up, and coding of health services
- Knowledge of the intervention area in the Cauca Department
- Knowledge of databases, dashboards, and technology such as tablets for capturing information
- Intermediate or advanced MS Office package: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, tables, database, preferably certified
- Desirable knowledge of Sphere standards and other humanitarian response training
- Soft skills such as assertive communication, flexibility, problem-solving capacity, teamwork
