PROJECT OFFICER

Mercy Corps is seeking a Project Officer to support the implementation of a climate-proofing food security program in Ethiopia's drought-prone lowland areas. The program aims to revitalize local food systems, improve agricultural productivity, and enhance the livelihoods of refugee and host community populations.

Requirements

• BSc in NRM, Agriculture, Forestry, rural development, Development studies, Cooperative Management, Agriculture Economics or related field
• Three years work experience in Cooperatives Development, Agriculture, NRM and livelihood development in similar organizations
• Prior experience working with pastoralist communities, in Ethiopia especially in the Somali region
• Effective verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, organizational, prioritization skills
