Tooling Engineer

Tooling Engineer needed for a permanent full-time position at Mergon in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 5+ years of process experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The role involves identifying and resolving issues with tooling and automation, modifying molds and fixtures, and collaborating with the engineering team to improve performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Tooling Technician, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of process experience in blow molding and injection molding
• Automotive industry experience (ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English
• Experience with plastics manufacturing
• Visa and passport availability
• Ability to travel
