Job Description
We are partnered with a southeast construction leader that is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team, with a focus on personal and professional growth.
Requirements
- Maintain adherence to the organization's standards of safety
- Ensure that required documentation is filed
- Assist in creating and managing project budget for all assigned projects
- Develop pre-construction RFP package
- Assist in conducting project meetings, setting milestones, and formulating monthly owner report
- Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
- Update project schedules, ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics
- Assist in managing the closeout process
- Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project
- Capture meeting minutes, monitor decisions made, assist with accountability on meeting milestones including influencing decision makers to stay on schedule
