Job Description
Meritus Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality care and help patients regain optimal physical function in the comfort of their homes.
Requirements
- Deliver direct patient care based on the therapist's plan of care
- Monitor patient status and report changes requiring reassessment
- Administer treatment interventions and collect objective data
- Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary case conferences
- Train patients and caregivers on equipment and therapeutic techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to therapists
