Job Description
Meritus Property Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations and management of its residential properties in the Portland, OR area. The role involves handling tenant inquiries, conducting property tours, preparing leases, and enforcing lease terms.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management is preferred
- Familiarity with Section 8, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle conflict management and resolve tenant issues effectively
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
- Experience with contract negotiation is beneficial
