Job Description
Merlin is a venture-backed aerospace startup focused on building a non-human pilot for reduced crew and uncrewed flight. They are seeking a Hardware Integration Engineer to design, integrate, and test avionics and control components for aircraft and test labs, contributing to a new product and possessing a significant impact on key aspects of a system. They are backed by leading investors and are rapidly scaling.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years technical work experience
- Advanced modeling experience with SolidWorks, Catia, OnShape, Fusion, or Creo
- Proven experience with rapid design cycles
- Experience with mechanism design, controls design and analysis, environmental analysis and structural analysis
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
