Index Production Analyst

MerQube is hiring an Index Production Analyst (Fresher) to support the daily maintenance of index operations. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are eager to build a strong foundation in index management, financial data analysis, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of experience in finance, data analysis, index operations, or related fields
• Foundational understanding of financial market data, corporate actions, and their impact on indices
• Exposure to financial data platforms such as FactSet, Reuters, Morningstar, Bloomberg, or similar tools
• Basic understanding of financial benchmarks, index methodologies, and rebalancing concepts
• Interest in process improvement and automation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data, investigate issues, and follow structured problem-solving approaches
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field
