Job Description
Merrimack Manufacturing LLC is recruiting for a Controls Engineer to develop and validate state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing control systems in a cross-functional environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with PLC programming and controls troubleshooting in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, medical preferred
- Extensive knowledge of ladder logic, relay controls, and controls power circuitry
- Understanding of RS232, Ethernet/IP, and remote I/O communications protocols
- Experience with JAVA, Python, SQL, and Visual Basic
- Experience with various sensor technologies including 0-20ma, 4-20ma, 0-5VDC, and 0-10VDC analog signals
- Experience and knowledge pertaining to motors and drives operating from 208/120VAC, 24VDC, 12VDC
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities daily
