CMF Developer

As a Color, Material, and Finish Developer on the RL Industrial Design team, you bring extensive knowledge of industrial materials and finishes as well as a passion for sourcing and developing new materials, methods and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Industrial Design from an accredited college or university, or relevant professional experience
• 10+ years experience working as a CMF Designer/Developer
• Ability to communicate design vision and concepts using traditional techniques to internal teams and Leadership
• Expert knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, metal fabrication techniques, resin development, coating technologies, plastics decoration processes, fabrics and textiles
• Experience working directly with materials suppliers, manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams to solve complex product problems at scale
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD and digital visualization software
