Job Description
Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta) is seeking a Data Scientist to leverage data and business principles to drive large-scale Meta's Data Center programs. The ideal candidate will define and develop program metrics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide mentorship to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science, Actuarial science or a related field
- Graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving data analysis, metrics development, and project management
- Experience with SQL queries, scripting in Python, R, or similar languages, and working with visualization tools like Tableau
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence organizational levels and drive business decisions
- Knowledge of statistics, data center operations, simulation, and optimization techniques
