Job Description
Metalab is seeking a Principal Brand Designer to lead the creative vision for brands, driving excellence in brand identity, marketing, and storytelling. The role involves guiding clients and internal teams through the brand design process, advocating for design excellence and collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Client Partners. The ideal candidate will blend systems thinking and a passion for storytelling to elevate brand experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in brand design, marketing, or visual identity
- Proven expertise in translating brand strategy into compelling visual identities
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience working in collaborative, highly iterative environments
- Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and brand documentation
- Passion for storytelling and narrative creation
- Comfortable leading workshops and sprints
- Deep understanding of product design principles
- Knowledge of brand documentation and systematization
